In the late 1990's two sanyasi's came to Homestead, Florida, USA ashram to visit Baba Hariharananda.
Baba told them, when they arrived in Homestead to see him:
"If you don't go to New York City, your trip to USA is unsuccessful."
"All of India is just a village, compared to New York City, you must go and see".
He promptly put them on a plane to New York City.
Many important meetings with disciples and decisions in the life of Baba Hariharananda happened during his time in New York City.
Baba loved New York City.
